Lights Under Louisville
Load up the kids in the family truckster and head to Louisville Mega Cavern for a one of a kind holiday light show! Lights Under Louisville is the world's only fully underground, drive through Christmas light show. Drive through 1.2 miles of underground passages to view the 850 lighted characters, equaling over 2 million points of light. It is spectacular!
The drive lasts approximately 30 minutes and runs 7 days a week through December 31st. Hours are Mon-Fri from 6-10p and Sat-Sun from 5-10pm. Prices start at $30 per car (cash or check only) and increase depending on vehicle type (passenger van, limo, bus). You can save $5 per car Mon-Thur - visit the Lights Under Louisville website or your local Wendy's for a coupon. Arrive early to ensure you don't have to wait for your view of all the lights!
Louisville Mega Cavern is located at 1841 Taylor Avenue, Louisville KY 40213. It is a man-made cavern spanning 17 miles of underground. In addition to the lights at Christmas, the cavern also features zip lines, an aerial ropes course, bike park, a tram tour, storage warehouse, and they can even host special events. When heading out to see the lights, take a detour through nearby historic Audubon Park to view the beautiful homes decorated for the holidays. The entrances are marked by stone gateways and the area is known for straight, tree-lined streets and 6 small neighborhood parks. Find a home for sale that you like?
